Title: Not Homophobic
Author: Annie-Lee (
out_there)
Author's website: Amazed by the Mathematics
Pairing: Casey/Dan
Rating: NC-17
Category: Slash, angst, romance, humour … it’s an epic! All human life is there!
Summary: Casey's not homophobic; he's just indecisive. Oh, and the Olympics happen. (This is Annie’s summary. Honest!)
Notes: As a service to humanity, or at least to Sports Night fandom, I’m archiving
out_there's fic for her, since I have a lot of time on my hands and she’s been overwhelmed by RL.
Sports Night fiction is divided, at least in my mind, into two distinct categories: what was written during the show’s duration, and the second wave which came along in the wake of the DVD release, overseas screenings, reruns, and plain old word-of-mouth. Somewhat unfairly, because most of what rec sites there are also date from the time of the show and are thus massively out of date, the SN fic that one sees recced over and over again and which is thus thought of as 'classic' tends to be the earlier stuff, even though much of the later writing is of at least as high a quality.
out_there is representative of that quality and is single-handedly responsible for a great deal of the quantity too. Actually, this particular fic is likewise heavy on the quantity: it’s an epic. Which is a Good Thing, because it's excellent.
